• Prerequisites for PADI IDC
1. To be at least 18 years old.
2. The PADI IDC candidates should be PADI Divemaster or leadership – level certification of another diver training organization at least 6 months.
3. Emergency First Response (EFR) and Secondary Care (CPR and first aid) training within the past 24 months.
4. Medical statement regarding fitness for diving, signed by a doctor within the previous 12 months.
5. Have at least 60 logged dives and 100 dives to attend an IE.
6. You also need to be an Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI), but you earn this rating during your instructor training.

INSTRUCTOR EXAMINATION (IE)
After the IDC, PADI instructor candidates must attend and successfully complete a PADI Instructor Examination (IE). The IE is two day exam in which candidates are evaluated on their diving knowledge and skills and ability to deliver teaching presentations in their classroom, confined water and open water settings.

In 12 days the IDC teaches you to conduct all PADI core courses. We will help you challenge yourself and reach your full potential in diving with the highest standard but also keeping it fun.
